Avao Lounge Chair

Limited edition lounge chair, numbered in an edition of 50. The structure is an assembly of bent beech plywood blades and brass fittings, built on a cantilever curve that flexes under the body, supporting the spine rather than holding it rigid. Back finished in off-white leather, seat detailed in oak veneer. Entirely demountable and recyclable, and handcrafted in France by local workshops. Evoking Mies van der Rohe's S 533 L cantilever chair, AVAO blends modernist cantilever design with a contemporary curved silhouette. Made to order. Custom finishes available on request.
