Crafted in France Maison Cédrat works closely with a family-run brickworks near Toulouse and a traditional paper manufacturer in the South of France. Each lamp is meticulously assembled, blending artisanal savoir-faire with contemporary design. We offer refined materials and French craftsmanship. Below is a list of the components used: → Terracotta base: sculpted and fired locally. → Hand-rolled Japanese paper lampshade: adjustable to suit your mood. → Turned beech wood handles and bulb holder. → Wool felt glides: gentle on surfaces. → Brass beads. CE compliant Assembly: Lumia is delivered in one package and requires simple assembly at home. The base and handmade paper shade are supplied separately, with the shade delivered flat. It is gently curved and positioned onto the base using the provided cords and ribbon. Assembly instructions are included. We recommend assembling the lamp with two people for easier handling of the paper shade.
