French Modernist Wood and Glass Table Lamp

A sculptural table lamp in stained oak, its base formed from two turned spheres separated by a clear glass disc, its edge showing the soft green cast typical of the period, rising to a wide conical shade in ivory sateen. A stacked, totemic silhouette in keeping with the vocabulary of French modernist lighting design. The wood has been gently restored and the lamp rewired throughout with a new brass E27 fitting, twisted fabric flex, EU plug and switch. Condition: Wood gently restored with some marks. Dimensions: H 37cm / 14.6" with shade. Recommended to use LED lightbulbs with this lampshade.
