Sculptural Candle Holders - Ignis Spina

Ignis Spina, the candelabrum takes the spine as its sculptural archetype, drawing inspiration from the sequential structureof ancient vertebrae. The form rises and falls, supporting and containing the flame, allowing it to unfold in rhythm. In its primal context, fire both drives civilization and carries the potential for destruction.Ignis Spina is conceived as a presence that holds and governs the flame, giving order to energy and a place for light.
