Vintage Modernist Glass Table Lamp, Sweden, 1940s

A small Swedish table lamp with a hand-blown glass base in pale aqua, crafted in the 1930s–40s. The spherical, optic-blown base has a luminous, watery quality that shifts gently with the light — the kind of depth that comes from the irregularities inherent to hand-blown glass. A simple, modernist form that lets the material do the work. Updated with a white linen shade, twisted textile cord and Euro type C plug. Measurements: - Height with shade: 33 cm (12.9") - Shade diameter: 25 cm (9.8") - Base diameter: Approx. 12 cm (4.7")
